У спортивному містечку Полтавського державного медичного університету знову панували азарт, командний дух і шалена підтримка трибун — завершився традиційний турнір з мініфутболу на Кубок ректора Вячеслава Ждана. Цей щорічний спортивний батл наприкінці навчального року вже став доброю традицією, яка об’єднує студентів, викладачів та медичних працівників Полтави й області у справжнє свято спорту.
Цьогоріч на поле вийшли:
- команда Полтавської обласної клінічної лікарні ім. М. В. Скліфосовського ПОР,
- КНП «Котелевська ЛПЛ»,
- КП «1-міська лікарня»,
- збірна команда співробітників ПДМУ,
- збірна команда студентів університету.
За результатами напружених поєдинків призові місця розподілилися так:
ІІІ місце — Полтавська обласна клінічна лікарня ім. М. В. Скліфосовського;
ІІ місце — КП «1-міська лікарня»;
І місце — команда студентів ПДМУ!
Тож Кубок цього року — у студентів!
Молодь не лише продемонструвала бойовий настрій і техніку, а й довела: майбутні лікарі здатні не лише рятувати життя, а й блискуче володіють м’ячем на полі.
У цей день зі словами привітань до учасників звернулися:
Валерій Похилько — проректор з науково-педагогічної та виховної роботи ПДМУ, професор. Він подякував Збройним Силам України за можливість проводити такі заходи у вільній країні, наголосив на важливості пропаганди здорового способу життя та передав щирі вітання від ректора університету, професора Вячеслава Ждана.
Також привітали команди з участю заступниця голови Полтавської обласної організації профспілки працівників охорони здоров’я України Людмила Гапон, а начальник управління у справах спорту та фізичної культури Полтавської міської ради, представник «Асоціації футболу Полтави» Ігор Кислов вручив переможцям три професійні футбольні м’ячі для мотивації та подальших тренувань.
Кубки й грамоти отримали переможці, а кожна команда — диплом на згадку про участь у турнірі.
Вітаємо студентів ПДМУ з гідною перемогою!
Змагання ще раз довели: молодь ПДМУ — сильна, цілеспрямована і готова до перемог не лише в медицині, а й на футбольному полі.
Дякуємо Збройним Силам України за можливість жити, навчатися, змагатися та планувати майбутнє під мирним небом.

PSMU Students Win the Rector Viacheslav Zhdan Cup! The Football Battle of the Year Ends in Victory for Future Doctors!
At the sports complex of Poltava State Medical University, excitement, team spirit, and roaring crowd support once again filled the air as the traditional mini-football tournament for the Rector Viacheslav Zhdan Cup came to a close. This annual sports battle at the end of the academic year has become a cherished tradition that unites students, faculty, and healthcare professionals from Poltava and the region in a true celebration of sports.
This year, the following teams took to the field:
- The team of Mykola Sklifosovsky Poltava Regional Clinical Hospital,
- "Kotelevska Central District Hospital",
- "1st City Hospital",
- A team of PSMU staff,
- A student team from the university.
After intense matches, the final standings were:
3rd place — Mykola Sklifosovsky Poltava Regional Clinical Hospital;
2nd place —"1st City Hospital";
1st place — PSMU student team!
So, the Cup goes to the students this year!
The youth not only showed fighting spirit and skill but also proved that future doctors can not only save lives but also masterfully control the ball on the field.
On this day, participants were greeted with words of encouragement by:
Professor Valerii Pokhylko — Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs and Extracurricular Activities of PSMU. He expressed gratitude to the Armed Forces of Ukraine for making such events possible in a free country, emphasized the importance of
promoting a healthy lifestyle, and conveyed warm greetings from the Rector of the University, Professor Viacheslav Zhdan.
Also offering congratulations were:
Liudmyla Hapon, Deputy Head of the Poltava Regional Organization of the Health Workers' Trade Union of Ukraine,
Ihor Kyslov, Head of the Department for Sports and Physical Culture of the Poltava City Council and representative of the "Poltava Football Association", who presented the winners with three professional footballs to motivate and support further training.
The winners received trophies and certificates, while each team received a diploma as a keepsake for participating in the tournament.
Congratulations to the PSMU students on their well-deserved victory!
The tournament once again proved: PSMU youth are strong, determined, and ready for victories not only in medicine but also on the football field.
