6 травня 2025 року здобувачі освіти ОПП «Стоматологія» (3 група, І курс) та ОПП «Медицина» (3 і 12 групи, І курс) разом із завідувачкою кафедри іноземних мов, латинської мови та медичної термінології Оленою Бєяєвою, доцентками кафедри Іриною Сологор, Вікторією Костенко, Ларисою Сліпченко та викладачкою Зінаїдою Таран відвідали інформаційно-виховний захід, організований Полтавською обласною універсальною науковою бібліотекою імені І. П. Котляревського.
Захід був присвячений історії суфражизму та боротьбі за права жінок в Україні. У межах події обговорювалися ключові етапи розвитку жіночого руху в Україні та світі, роль жінок у суспільному, політичному й культурному житті, а також сучасні виклики, пов’язані з утвердженням гендерної рівності.
Студенти мали можливість ознайомитися з архівними матеріалами та літературою з теми, а також долучитися до дискусії. Захід сприяв поглибленню соціокультурної обізнаності, що є важливою складовою професійної підготовки майбутніх лікарів у контексті розуміння суспільних процесів.

PSMU Students took part in an engaging educational and awareness event
On May 6, 2025, first-year students of the Educational and Professional Programs "Dentistry" (Group 3) and "Medicine" (Groups 3 and 12), accompanied by Olena Bieiaieva, Head of the Department of Foreign Languages, Latin Language and Medical Terminology, along with Associate Professors Iryna Sologor, Viktoriia Kostenko, Larysa Slipchenko, and Lecturer Zinaida Taran, attended an educational and awareness-raising event hosted by the Poltava Regional Universal Scientific Library named after I. P. Kotliarevskyi.
The event focused on the history of the suffragist movement and the struggle for women's rights in Ukraine. Participants explored key stages in the development of the women's movement both in Ukraine and globally, the role of women in public, political, and cultural life, and the modern challenges in achieving gender equality.
Students had the opportunity to examine archival materials and specialized literature, as well as join in a thoughtful discussion. The event fostered greater sociocultural awareness — an important element in the professional training of future physicians, particularly in understanding the broader societal context in which they will work
