За наслідками Чорнобильській катастрофі немає рівних, вона оповила радіоактивним шлейфом значну частину планети та перетворила квітучу місцевість на зону відчуження. Через тридцять років після катастрофи 26 квітня було проголошена ООН Міжнародним днем пам’яті Чорнобиля, а в Україні цей день почали відзначати значно раніше. Він є нагадуванням про те, якою небезпечною може бути атомна енергетика, про героїзм ліквідаторів аварії та про довгострокові наслідки цієї події для людей і довкілля.
Напередодні 39 річниці з дня аварії на Чорнобильській АЕС голова ПОП ПДМУ Ярослав Рибалка разом з членами профспілкового комітету ПОП ПДМУ привітали співробітників ПДМУ, які є ліквідаторами аварії.
Висловлюємо глибоку шану, вдячність і повагу всім Вам, які ціною власного життя та здоров’я стали на захист людства від старшої техногенної катастрофи.
У день вшанування ліквідаторів бажаємо Вам і Вашим родинам міцного здоров’я, душевного спокою, добробуту.

Remembering to ensure it never happens again: April 26, 2025 – The 39th Anniversary of the Chornobyl Disaster
The Chornobyl disaster has no equal in its consequences. It cast a radioactive shadow over a vast part of the planet and turned a once-thriving region into an exclusion zone. Thirty years after the catastrophe, April 26 was proclaimed by the United Nations as International Chernobyl Disaster Remembrance Day, though Ukraine had already been commemorating this date much earlier. It serves as a reminder of the potential dangers of nuclear energy, the heroism of the disaster liquidators, and the long-term consequences for people and the environment.
On the eve of the 39th anniversary of the Chornobyl Nuclear Power Plant accident, the Head of the Trade Union Committee of PSMU, Yaroslav Rybalka, together with committee members, honored PSMU employees who participated in the liquidation of the disaster's aftermath.
We express our deep respect, gratitude, and admiration to all of you who, at the cost of your own health and lives, stood in defense of humanity from the world's most devastating man-made catastrophe.
On this day of tribute, we wish you and your families strength, peace of mind, and well-being.
