18 квітня науково-педагогічні працівниці кафедри українознавства та гуманітарної підготовки Полтавського державного медичного університету, завідувачка кафедри Тетяна Лещенко й доцентка Марина Жовнір долучилися до обговорення актуальних мовознавчих проблем, які висвітлювали провідні вітчизняні лінгвісти й лінгводидакти на пленарному / секційних засіданнях міжнародної науково-практичної конференції «Прикладні лінгвістичні дослідження в умовах міжкультурної комунікації», яка відбулася в Національному університеті «Острозька академія».
У фахове видання категорії Б до друку подано статтю Марини Жовнір, Тетяни Лещенко «Імплементація методології предметно-мовного інтегрованого навчання (сlil) у вивчення української мови як іноземної в медичному закладі вищої освіти».
Учасники наукового зібрання представили власні бачення шляхів розв’язання нагальних проблем, пов’язаних з освітою й соціолінгвістикою, когнітивістикою і прагматикою, стилістикою й інтерпретацією тексту, а також із сучасними підходами й інноваційними технологіями формування іншомовної комунікативної компетентності в процесі міжкультурної інтеграції. Виголошені тематично різні наукові праці переконливо засвідчили про зацікавлення педагогів сучасними тенденціями викладання у вищій школі.
Привернула увагу низка актуальних тем досліджень: семантико-функційні виміри термінної лексики у професійному мовленні; «Два кольори» Дмитра Павличка в аспекті навчання української мови як іноземної; формування українськомовної комунікативної компетентності в умовах воєнного стану: питання мотивації іноземних студентів-медиків (досвід анкетування); лінгвістичний портрет українських біженців у європейських онлайн-виданнях; реалізація української правописної норми в назвах сучасних озброєнь; евфемізми воєнного часу в риториці засобів масової комунікації; перехід від навчальної аудиторії до кіберпростору: дослідження сучасних тенденцій трансформації мовної практики в дистанційному навчанні; іншомовна підготовка із використанням штучного інтелекту: переваги та недоліки.
Наукова діяльність у цих напрямах перспективна і триватиме. На часі – поглиблене й комплексне дослідження окреслених науковцями проблем, нові конференції та публікації.
OSTROH 2024: PSMU scholars talk about actual language issues
On April 18, the academic staff of the Department of Ukrainian Studies and Humanities of Poltava State Medical University, Head of the Department Tetiana Leshchenko and Associate Professor Maryna Zhovnir joined the discussion of topical linguistic issues highlighted by leading national linguists and linguodidacts at the plenary/sectional sessions of the international scientific and practical conference "Applied Linguistic Research in Intercultural Communication" held at the National University of Ostroh Academy.
The article by Maryna Zhovnir and Tetiana Leshchenko "Implementation of the methodology of subject and language integrated learning (SLIL) in the study of Ukrainian as a foreign language in a medical higher education institution" was submitted for publication in the category B professional journal.
The participants of the scientific meeting presented their own visions of ways to solve urgent problems related to education and sociolinguistics, cognitive science and pragmatics, stylistics and text interpretation, as well as modern approaches and innovative technologies for the formation of foreign language communicative competence in the process of intercultural integration. The various research papers presented at the conference convincingly demonstrated the interest of teachers in current trends in teaching in higher education.
A number of topical research topics attracted attention: semantic and functional dimensions of urgent vocabulary in professional speech; Dmytro Pavlychko's "Two Colors" in the aspect of teaching Ukrainian as a foreign language; formation of Ukrainian-language communicative competence under martial law: issues of motivation of foreign medical students (survey experience); linguistic portrait of Ukrainian refugees in European online publications; implementation of the Ukrainian spelling norm in the names of modern weapons; wartime euphemisms in the rhetoric of mass communication; transition from the classroom to cyberspace: research of current trends in the transformation of language practice in distance learning; foreign language training using artificial intelligence: advantages and disadvantages.
Research in these areas is promising and will continue. We are planning an in-depth and comprehensive study of the problems outlined by scientists, new conferences and publications.
