Тривога заполонила наш світ, кожен день несе нові випробування воєнним лихоліттям, але, на щастя, є вічні цінності у нашому житті, які дають нам неабияку снагу бути стійкими, мужніми і не втрачати надію на майбутнє мирне життя на рідній українській землі, щедро зрошеній сьогодні потом і кров`ю багатьох поколінь…Про це думалось під час креативного емоційного заходу, який відбувся під керівництвом доцентки кафедри ортодонтії, докторки медичних наук Марини Дмитренко.
Він відбувся в освітньо-дозвілевому просторі «MedSpace» у форматі десятого засідання студентської наукової групи кафедри ортодонтії. Але вже з перших хвилин стало зрозуміло, що юні науковці спочатку звернулися до невербального спілкування з учасниками: виступ 8-річного ортодонтичного пацієнта, лауреата міжнародних музичних конкурсів Артема Бутенка, який виконав на фортепіано українські музичні твори «Сині гори» і "Народний танець," наповнив серця не просто музикою, а особливим зворушливим настроєм спраглих за позитивом людей!
Його вдалося зберегти упродовж всього ортодонтичного заходу. Лікарі-ортодонти раділи успіху у лікуванні свого маленького талановитого пацієнта, а студенти, можливо, і для себе цього разу відкривали нові методи спілкування з дітьми, які мають ортодонтичні проблеми. Одним словом, незвичайне засідання полонило всіх і надовго залишиться у пам`яті! Адже окрім позитивних емоцій, мало ще і суто діловий підхід. Студент 3-ого курсу Микита Остапенко прочитав доповідь на тему: «Міотерапія в ортодонтії». Далі учасники обговорили перспективи застосування штучного інтелекту у наукових дослідженнях. А наприкінці засідання було представлено інформацію щодо участі в звітно-виборчих зборах СНТ ПДМУ, які відбудуться 22 травня 2025 року.

Filling Hearts with Music: A Creative Event at the Department of Orthodontics
Anxiety has permeated our world, and each day brings new challenges shaped by the hardships of war. Yet, fortunately, there are timeless values in our lives that grant us the strength to remain resilient, courageous, and to hold on to hope for a peaceful future on our native Ukrainian land — a land now generously soaked with the sweat and blood of many generations. These reflections emerged during an emotional and creative event held under the guidance of Maryna Dmytrenko, Associate Professor of Orthodontics and Doctor of Medical Sciences.
The event took place in the educational and recreational space MedSpace as part of the tenth session of the student scientific group of the Department of Orthodontics. However, from the very first minutes, it became clear that the young researchers had chosen to begin with non-verbal communication. An 8-year-old orthodontic patient and laureate of international music competitions, Artem Skoryk, performed Ukrainian musical pieces “Blue Mountains” and “Folk Dance” on the piano. His performance filled the hearts of the audience not just with music, but with a deeply moving atmosphere that resonated with those longing for positive emotions.
That spirit was sustained throughout the entire orthodontic gathering. The orthodontists celebrated the treatment success of their young, talented patient, while the students may have discovered new ways to connect with children facing orthodontic challenges. In short, this extraordinary session captivated everyone and will long be remembered!
Besides the positive emotions, the event also featured a solid professional component. Third-year student Mykyta Ostapenko delivered a report on “Myotherapy in Orthodontics.” This was followed by a discussion on the prospects of using artificial intelligence in scientific research. The meeting concluded with information about the upcoming general meeting and elections of the PSMU Student Scientific Society, scheduled for May 22, 2025.
