3-5 квітня 2025 р. у м. Києві відбувся науковий симпозіум з міжнародною участю ХХVІІ Національна Школа гастроентерологів, гепатологів України «Шляхи підвищення ефективності та новітні технології профілактики, діагностики та лікування захворювань органів травлення та супутньої патології» з одночасною демонстрацією онлайн.
Упродовж трьох днів роботи наукового симпозіуму були розглянуті актуальні проблеми діагностики та лікування кислотозалежних захворювань, патології печінки та біліарного тракту, тактики ведення коморбідного пацієнта із залученням експертів з ендокринології, неврології та онкології; діагностики та лікування функціональних та запальних захворювань кишечника, а також профілактики та лікування захворювань підшлункової залози.
Президент Української гастроентерологічної асоціації, проректор з науково-педагогічної роботи та післядипломної освіти, професор кафедри внутрішньої медицини № 1, професор Ігор Скрипник виступив з науковими доповідями, які присвячені новим підходам до лікування кислотозалежних захворювань, стеатотичній хворобі печінки внаслідок прийому ліків. Також він брав участь у майстер-класі з розбору клінічного випадку хворого з цирозом печінки та сателітному симпозіумі «Пацієнт з синдромом подразненого кишечника: погляд гастроентеролога і невролога».
Завідувач кафедри внутрішньої медицини № 1, професорка Ганна Маслова у доповіді представила комплексний менеджмент стеатотичної хвороби печінки і метаболічного синдрому.
З проблемною доповіддю з сучасних підходів до діагностики, лікування на профілактики гелікобактерної інфекції виступив керівник Маастрихтських консенсусів проф. Peter Malfertheiner (Німеччина).
У роботі симпозіуму також взяли участь провідні вчені Європи P. Enrique de Madaria (Іспанія), Giovanni Barbara (Італія), Maura Corsetti (Великобританія).

XXVII National School of Gastroenterologists and Hepatologists of Ukraine: summary
From April 3-5, 2025, the scientific symposium with international participation, XXVII National School of Gastroenterologists and Hepatologists of Ukraine, titled "Ways to Increase the Effectiveness and Innovative Technologies in the Prevention, Diagnosis, and Treatment of Digestive Organ Diseases and Related Pathologies," was held in Kyiv, with an online demonstration.
During the three days of the scientific symposium, relevant issues concerning the diagnosis and treatment of acid-dependent diseases, liver and biliary tract pathology, management of comorbid patients with the involvement of endocrinology, neurology, and oncology experts, diagnosis and treatment of functional and inflammatory diseases of the intestines, as well as prevention and treatment of pancreatic diseases, were discussed.
Professor Ihor Skrypnyk, the President of the Ukrainian Gastroenterological Association, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs and Postgraduate Education, Professor of the Department of Internal Medicine No. 1, delivered scientific reports dedicated to new approaches to the treatment of acid-dependent diseases and steatotic liver disease caused by medication use. He also participated in a master class on the clinical case of a patient with cirrhosis of the liver and a satellite symposium "Patient with Irritable Bowel Syndrome: A Gastroenterologist’s and Neurologist’s View."
The Head of the Department of Internal Medicine No. 1, Professor Hanna Maslova, presented a report on the comprehensive management of steatotic liver disease and metabolic syndrome.
Professor Peter Malfertheiner (Germany), the leader of the Maastricht Consensus, gave a problem report on modern approaches to the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of Helicobacter pylori infection.
The symposium also featured leading European scientists such as P. Enrique de Madaria (Spain), Giovanni Barbara (Italy), and Maura Corsetti (United Kingdom).
