12 березня 2025 року відбулось чергове засідання Вченої ради ПДМУ. Його відкрив голова Вченої ради, ректор Вячеслав Ждан. Перед розглядом питань на порядку денному він надав слово запрошеному на засідання Його Високопреосвященству, Митрополиту Полтавському і Кременчуцькому Федору. Владика Федір назвав доброю традицією зустрічі з університетською спільнотою, яка склалася останніми роками та ввійшла у постійний вжиток. Сьогодні, зокрема, він зупинився на тлумаченні таких філософських понять на злобу дня, як то: чесноти і цінності. Бо ж вони знаходяться в основі життя православного християнина. Саме вони спонукають його до добрих справ на користь ближнього. «Таким, зокрема, є благодійництво, - сказав він. - Служіння суспільству - то складова громадянського життя. Виконуючи цей обов`язок, ми вистоїмо!» За особистий внесок у відродження духовності і ствердження українського православ`я на Полтавщині Його Високопреосвященство, Митрополит Полтавський і Кременчуцький Федір нагородив Почесними грамотами Полтавської єпархії ПЦУ колективи кафедр українознавства та гуманітарної підготовки, анатомії людини, гістології, цитології та ембріології, Науково-Навчальний медичний інститут.

Урочистий процес вручення нагород продовжив ректор ПДМУ Вячеслав Ждан. За вагомі досягнення у професії він вручив Подяки МОЗ України, Почесні грамоти Полтавської ОВА та Полтавської міської ради співробітникам Університету. Хвилиною мовчання вшанували пам`ять Колеги і Вчителя, професора Сергія Безшапочного, який пішов у Вічність 12 березня 2025 року…

Далі згідно з порядком денним заслухали звіт завідувачки кафедри педіатрії № 2 Тетяни Крючко про виконання нею умов Контракту на посаді за 5 років. В обговоренні взяла участь в. о. заступниці головного лікаря ПОКЛ ім. М. В. Скліфосовського Ніна Козир. Вона високо оцінила професійну діяльність кафедри під керівництвом професорки Тетяни Крючко, давши їй таке визначення, як «серце нашої педіатричної спільноти». Вчена рада одноголосно визнала роботу задовільною та як такою, що рекомендована ректору для продовження контракту на посаді завідувачки кафедри з професоркою Тетяною Крючко на наступні 5 років.

На засіданні заслухали звіт також завідувачки кафедри шкірних та венеричних хвороб Яни Ємченко про виконання нею умов Контракту на посаді за 5 років. Робота визнана задовільною, а рекомендація про продовження контракту на наступний термін отримала одноголосне схвалення.

Серед наступних важливих питань був аналіз публікаційної активності ПДМУ за викладом проректора з наукової роботи Ігоря Кайдашева, а також представлення ним до затвердження складу спеціалізованої вченої ради для захисту дисертацій аспірантів та здобувачів кафедр на здобуття ступеня доктора філософії.

Розглянули на Вченій раді й представлені навчальні видання науково-педагогічних працівників ПДМУ, рекомендованих до затвердження з наданням їм відповідного грифу, і конкурсні справи.

Серед іншого обговорили актуальні питання сьогодення.

Meeting of the PSMU Academic Council: Key Agenda Items

On March 12, 2025, a regular meeting of the PSMU Academic Council took place. The meeting was opened by the Chairman of the Academic Council, Rector Viacheslav Zhdan. Before addressing the agenda items, he gave the floor to His Eminence, Metropolitan Fedir of Poltava and Kremenchuk, who was invited to the session.

Metropolitan Fedir emphasized the importance of the tradition of meetings with the university community, which has developed in recent years and become a regular practice. In his speech, he focused on the interpretation of philosophical concepts relevant to contemporary society, such as virtues and values, which form the foundation of the life of an Orthodox Christian and inspire good deeds for the benefit of others. "Charity, in particular, is an example of this," he stated. "Serving society is an integral part of civic life. By fulfilling this duty, we will endure!"

For his personal contribution to the revival of spirituality and the strengthening of Ukrainian Orthodoxy in the Poltava region, His Eminence, Metropolitan Fedir, awarded Honorary Certificates from the Poltava Diocese of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine to the staff of the Departments of Ukrainian Studies and Humanities, Human Anatomy, Histology, Cytology and Embryology, as well as the Medical Education and Research Institute.

The ceremony of awarding distinctions was continued by PSMU Rector Viacheslav Zhdan. For significant professional achievements, he presented Certificates of Appreciation from the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, Honorary Certificates from the Poltava Regional Military Administration, and the Poltava City Council to university staff. A moment of silence was observed in memory of a colleague and mentor, Professor Serhii Bezshapochnyi, who passed away on March 12, 2025.

Following the agenda, the Academic Council heard a report from Tetiana Kriuchko, Head of the Department of Pediatrics No. 2, on her performance under the terms of her contract over the past five years. The discussion included comments from Nina Kozyr, Acting Deputy Chief Physician of the M.V. Sklifosovsky Poltava Regional Clinical Hospital. She praised the department's professional activities under Professor Kriuchko’s leadership, describing it as "the heart of our pediatric community." The Academic Council unanimously recognized the work as satisfactory and recommended that the Rector extend Professor Tetiana Kriuchko’s contract for another five years.

The Council also reviewed a report from Yana Yemchenko, Head of the Department of Dermatology and Venereology, on her performance over the past five years. Her work was deemed satisfactory, and the recommendation to extend her contract for the next term received unanimous approval.

Among other significant agenda items was an analysis of PSMU’s publication activity, presented by Vice-Rector for Research Ihor Kaidashev. He also introduced the composition of the specialized academic council for the defense of dissertations by postgraduate students and applicants for the Doctor of Philosophy degree, which was submitted for approval.

Additionally, the Academic Council reviewed educational publications by PSMU faculty members, recommending their approval and granting them the appropriate academic classification. Competitive cases were also considered.

The meeting concluded with discussions on pressing current issues.
