Prof. V. Pokhilko and Professor Kovalyova O.M. participated in the Congress of the European Academy of Pediatrics (Slovenia, Ljubljana) on the topic: "Clinical, infectious and biochemical characteristics of arterial hypotension in premature newborns with early bacterial infections" with the assistance of the Association of Neonatologists of Ukraine.
The following areas of pediatrics were presented at the congress: adolescent medicine, neonatology, allergology and immunology, nephrology, emergency medicine and emergency care, endocrinology and diabetes, tropical diseases in children, gastroenterology and nutrition, primary health care, genetic and metabolic diseases, obesity, hematology and oncology, rheumatology, children's cardiology.
Topics of master courses: infectious bone disease, tuberculosis in children, viral infections, congenital cytomegalovirus infection, new viral threats - viruses Ebola and Zika, intracranial infections - group A streptococci, recurrent infections, sepsis (new guidelines), tick-borne infections, vaccination, bacterial infections, infections in neonatology, children's cardiology.
The congress was attended by more than 1000 representatives from 24 countries of the world.
