German-Ukrainian seminar "Reserves for reducing the risk of disability in children at risk. Neonatal aspects. Social pediatrics" was held in Kyiv with the support of the Association of Neonatologists and Children's Neurologists of Ukraine within the framework of the project" Ukraine - Children's Health ".
Within the framework of the workshop two plenary sessions, six seminars and two sectional sessions took place. They were devoted to: specialized ambulatory palliative care of children of Germany; International ICF classification of disorders and health - disability groups for children and adolescents; the Center for the Advancement of Early Childhood Development; the principles of organization of outpatient care for children with disabilities; pediatric help for children with epilepsy; the structure and tasks of social-pedagogical centers; the role of catamnestic observation in reducing the morbidity and disability of children with perinatal pathology; social pediatrics; modern approaches to the diagnosis and treatment of tuberous sclerosis.
Professor of the Department of Pediatrics No. 1 with Propaedeutics and Neonatology, DMs. Pokhylʹko Valeriy Ivanovych took part in the conference as a moderator.
