Scientific and Practical Conference with International Participation «Adaptive and Injurious Stress Development Mechanisms», dedicated to the 80th birth anniversary of Professor Lidiya Musiyivna Tarasenko took place in the HSEEU "Ukrainian Medical Stomatological Academy".
Students, colleagues and people close to Lidiya Musiyivna, participated in the conference.
First Vice-Rector Professor Viktor Nikolayevich Bobyrov opened the conference. He emphasized the merits and achievements of the professional activities of the brilliant pathophysiologist, outstanding scientist, talented teacher, a wonderful and sensitive person Professor Lidia Musiyevna Tarasenko.
Professor Ihor Petrovich Kaidashev, vice-rector for scientific research and Professor Igor Skrypnyk, vice-rector for scientific and pedagogical work and postgraduate education, addressed the guests and participants of the conference with warm congratulations and warm words recalling his teacher.
Attendees of the conference reviewed a film about the life and professional path of an incredible woman, a dedicated scientist, a woman with great wisdom of life, "Life devoted to people and a beloved cause", prepared by her students - prof. I.M. Skrypnyk, prof. K.S. Neporada, prof. T.O. Petrushanko
The scientific agenda included a plenary session to discuss a wide range of issues on stress-induced states and diseases, as well as finding effective approaches to their prevention and treatment.
The urgency of the problems of stress and stress-induced diseases is becoming extremely relevant in modern conditions. The students of Lidiya Musiyivna plan to make this conference annual.
Lidiya Musiyivna TARASENKO (7.11.1937-12.03.2017)
An outstanding scientist in the field of physiology and pathophysiology of extreme states, a member of the New York Academy of Sciences, an excellent student of public health in Ukraine, an excellent student of higher education in Ukraine, a doctor of medical sciences, a professor.
Graduate of M. Gorky Donetsk Medical Institute (1960), graduated with honors.
In 1967 started her scientific and pedagogical career in Poltava Medical Stomatological Institute / Ukrainian Medical Stomatological Academy at the departments of pathological physiology (1967-1978 - Assistant, 1978-1986 - Associate Professor, 1987-1988 - Professor) and Biological Chemistry (1988-2006 - Head of the Department, 2006-2017 - Professor of the Department).
Under the supervision of prof. L.M. Tarasenko 16 theses have been written: 3 doctors (Prof. Petrushanko T.O., Prof. I. Skrypnyk, Prof. Nepola K. S.) and 13 candidate's. Professor L.M. Tarasenko is the author of 460 scientific works, 15 certificates of authorship and 30 patents, co-author of the textbooks "Functional Biochemistry" (2 editions) and "Biological and Bioorganic Chemistry", monographs "Slime glands", "Stress and Periodontal" and others.
L.M. Tarasenko was a member of the International Pathophysiological, Ukrainian Pathophysiological and Biochemical Societies, a member of the specialized academic councils for the defence of doctoral theses in Ukrainian Medical Stomatological Academy (Poltava) and Kharkiv National Medical University.
For her significant contribution to the development of health care in Ukraine by the Decree of the President of Ukraine dated December 2, 2013 № 658 prof. Lydia Musiyivna Tarasenko has been granted a lifetime state scholarship as a prominent figure in health care.
Відомий вчений в галузі фізіології і патофізіології екстремальних станів, дійсний член Нью-Йоркської Академії наук, відмінник охорони здоров'я України, відмінник вищої школи України, доктор медичних наук, професор.
Випускниця Донецького медичного інституту ім. М.Горького (1960), який закінчила з відзнакою.
З 1967 р. розпочала свою науково-педагогічну діяльність у Полтавському медичному стоматологічному інституті/Українській медичній стоматологічній академії на кафедрах патологічної фізіології (1967–1978 рр. – асистент, 1978–1986 рр. – доцент, 1987-1988 рр. – професор) та біологічної хімії (1988–2006 рр. – завідувач кафедри, 2006-2017 рр. – професор кафедри).
Під керівництвом проф. Тарасенко Л.М. виконано 16 дисертацій: 3 докторських (проф. Петрушанко Т.О., проф. Скрипник І.М., проф. Непорада К.С.) та 13 кандидатських. Професор Л.М.Тарасенко є автором 460 наукових праць, 15 авторських свідоцтв і 30 патентів, співавтором підручників «Функціональна біохімія» (2 видання) та «Біологічна та біоорганічна хімія», монографій «Слинні залози», «Стрес і пародонт» та інших.
Тарасенко Л.М. була членом Міжнародного патофізіологічного, Українського патофізіологічного та біохімічного товариств, членом спеціалізованих вчених рад по захисту докторських дисертацій у ВДНЗУ «Українська медична стоматологічна академія» (м. Полтава) та Харківському національному медичному університеті.
За значний внесок в розвиток охорони здоров‘я України Указом Президента України від 2 грудня 2013 р. №658 проф. Тарасенко Лідії Мусіївні призначена довічна державна стипендія як видатному діячу охорони здоров'я.
