FOREIGN STUDENTS PAID HOMAGE TO THE VICTIMS OF THE HOLODOMOR

Eighty-five years have passed since our country was devastated by one of the most terrible famines in the history of mankind – the Holodomor of 1932-1933...
On the eve of this sorrowful date - the Remembrance Day of the Holodomor Victims the Dean's Office of the Faculty of Foreign Students Training of the Higher State Educational Establishment of Ukraine, “Ukrainian Medical Stomatological Academy” together with the teachers of the Department of Ukrainian Studies and Humanitarian Training and with foreign students from the neighboring countries (Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan) and foreign countries (Morocco, Iran, Jordan, Lebanon, Egypt) organized and conducted a thematic excursion «Honoring the past, building the future».
During their visit to Poltava Vasyl Krichevsky Museum of Local Lore, foreign students learned about the customs of our people, our culture and paid homage to the victims of the Holodomor.
