On December 16, 2017, the 19th Theoretical and Practical Indology Conference “The realities and mysteries of Emperor Ashoka descendants” took place in Poltava, which was dedicated to the 25th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Ukraine and India, the 75th anniversary of the Independence of India, the anniversary of B. R. Ambedkar who was the founder of the Constitution of India and the 100 anniversary of the Indira Gandhi birthday. The Ambassador of India to Ukraine, H.E. Manoj Kumar Bharti attended the Conference.
The Conference was also attended by international students from India and administrative staff of the Faculty of Foreign Students Training of the HSEE of Ukraine “Ukrainian Medical Stomatological Academy”.
Assoc. Professor Burya L.V., the Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Students Training presented the welcoming speech to the audience.
The Conference was held in a warm and relaxed atmosphere.
The participants and guests listened to the reports with interest and pleasure.
