Help and save! Animals also need our care. For more than two years, the laboratory assistant of the Department of Propedeutics of Internal Medicine with Patient Care, General Practice (Family Medicine) Elena Shevchenko helps all animals of Poltava shelters for homeless animals. Abandoned, ill, traumatized and lonely animals have found shelter there, and their survival depends entirely on volunteers and good people who find a part of their time, at least a little bit of money and a part of their souls to care for, feed, and walk these animals. Elena Vladimirovna has her ward - the dog called Nusya, who has been saved from euthanasia. At home she has sheltered three abandoned cats.
Her children and son-in-law help her in this challenge. In summer Margaryta and Oleksiy got married. They asked their guests to give them animal food as wedding presents! Everybody was eager to help, and after the wedding the young couple brought a large amount of food and necessities to the shelter. The life of all these animals depends on such help till the animals find their new forever homes.
Before that another young couple had that idea, and we hope that there will be more events, aimed to help defenceless and homeless animals, who will pay with their love and devotion for this help.
Join this noble enterprise! Let`s help the animals of our city together, because these animals have experienced a lot in their lives, they know the price of betrayal, the price of suffering, and never forget the good. By joint efforts, we will ensure homeless animals comfortable stay at the shelter.
